I'm an Oklahoma City radio chick (mornings on 96.9 BOB FM) who writes songs and plays the guitar instead of cooking a decent meal for my family. I do, however, devote time to philanthropic causes such as assisting African girls through my female purchases. Does that make up for the cooking thing?
I know some athletes who actually carry around promo shots that they will readily sign...even if you're not interested.
I sat next to former Texas Rangers manager Frank Lucchesi on a recent flight and after about 15 minutes, he got up, opened the luggage compartment, pulled out his briefcase and began autographing self-portraits for me. I didn't ask for one, much les the HALF DOZEN he whipped out for every person I could name.
The weirdness of that aside, he was a really nice man who misses baseball a lot.
I saw the full show last night thanks to my old VCR and it's a bad show when Holly Hunter, her angel and that girl from "Just Shoot Me" aren't on the screen. It also seems like they're trying too hard to work in the OKC mentions and/or product placements.
Hunter is a great actress, though, and she just might walk off with the Emmy for her work on this show, despite her less than stellar supporting cast.

He just happens to carry an autographed OU football around with him???
That would be like Phil carrying around an autographed meatball sandwich...

Based on Friday's show, the King definitely has "it"!
